Kyle Colin concentrates his practice in the defense of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Longshore and Harbor Workers Compensation claims. In addition, Mr. Colin has experience in general liability defense, commercial litigation, collection/creditor’s rights and eminent domain. In 2006, Mr. Colin earned his Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington Delaware and was an editor for the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law. While in law school Mr. Colin interned with the Honorable Charles B. Smith, Ret. former Chief Magistrate of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of PA. Mr. Colin attended and received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mary Washington College in 1999. Prior to joining Schaff & Young, P.C., Mr. Colin handled personal injury, commercial litigation, general litigation and creditor’s rights cases in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Virginia. He has experience advising and representing small to medium size businesses in their accounts receivable and collection matters. Prior to attending law school Mr. Colin was an information technology consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC where he was involved in large scale software implementations for Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Colin resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Virginia. Mr. Colin is a member of the Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, New Jersey and Virginia Bar Associations as well as being admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of PA and New Jersey.
